Exhaust silencers & steel chimneys: Heavy components mounted with centimeter precision

Our test benches are taking shape: The exhaust silencers have been delivered and positioned in the hall.

Four impressive, 11-meter-high steel chimneys were lifted by heavy-duty crane onto the hall roof and placed with centimeter precision into the anchor cages embedded in the roof at a height of approximately 15 meters – no easy task under North German weather conditions.

A big thank you to our exhaust system supplier, Jeremias Abgastechnik GmbH Deutschland, and Schlamann Autokrane GmbH for their excellent partnership and precise on-site execution.

With these measures, we are consistently meeting the requirements of our emissions report, which we prepared as part of our application for the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG).

The test field is a key component of our quality policy for the comprehensive testing of (emergency) generators and backup power systems. At 28 meters deep, the test benches are ideally suited for container installations in data centers.

The result: Testing capacity at FRERK Aggregatebau GmbH has increased to 16 indoor test bays – a unique feature in Germany.
