Four options for securing power supply
Stationary in a building or underground, containerized with optimized space, mobile & flexible or as a modular power plant: Frerk provides complete solutions for every requirement. Project & room planning, assembly, electrical installation, complete wiring on site, commissioning and training of operating personnel — with competent construction site and assembly management on request. The after sales service ensures maximum plant availability.
Transport by water, land or air, including coordination and customs clearance — we cover all contingencies. Container solutions arrive pre-assembled and tested, and we also retroactively integrate building installations into existing properties. For data centers, we develop modular Power PODs from standardized container installation variants. Each installation variant is optimised according to customer requirements in terms of dimensions, room layout, equipment and infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Why are so many emergency power systems installed in containers?
Containers arrive pre-assembled and tested at the customer's premises, which minimizes assembly times. The system is immediately ready for use. In addition, this installation variant offers better transportability and flexible relocation when required.
Are containerized backup power supply systems standardized?
No container is the same as the other, because we implement customer-specific optimized solutions in terms of size, equipment, cut-outs, room layout and infrastructure. Small batches of up to 50 pieces in the sense of an individualized series are feasible in our production capacities.
What is the preferred installation option for data centers?
In data centers, container variants and also “e-pods” (electrical pods) are almost standard. They combine emergency power system (EPS) with uninterruptible power supply (UPS), switchgear and control in modular form and ensure redundancies in parallel connection.
Can building installations also be installed on existing properties?
Depending on local conditions, we are happy to check this. Opening the building envelopes and subsequent installation may well prove to be a common and advantageous solution. Here, too, we have been able to build up very extensive know-how over the decades.
Up to what output does it make sense to design mobile generator sets?
Within the limits of transport eligibility, mobile units can be produced in a wide variety of performance classes — there is no fixed performance limit. The specific transport requirements and operating conditions are decisive. We would be happy to advise you on the optimal design of your mobile power solution.
