Critical infrastructure
Safe and reliable power supply is essential for critical infrastructures. Our EPS combined with UPS ensure uninterrupted availability and meet all legal requirements in accordance with e.g. the German umbrella act for critical infrastructure protection. Proven best practice for hospitals, traffic control centers, public utilities, data centers — anywhere where power failure would have precarious and life-threatening consequences.

Clinics, airports, data centers, chemical plants and nuclear power plants are among the critical infrastructures whose functionality is essential for modern society. The continuous power supply plays a central role in this — even brief failures or voltage fluctuations can have fatal consequences. Network outages also cause damage to high-tech components, cost-intensive repairs and expensive downtime. Modern EPS and UPS reduce liability risks and demonstrate reliability. In the area of safety power supply, where people may be at risk of life, we take into account any normatively defined changeover times, redundancies and consumers in accordance with DIN EN 50171.
Frerk develops EPS combined with UPS as a redundant system specifically for critical infrastructures in the power range of 0.2 MW to 10 MW/unit in low and medium voltage. All system solutions comply with national and international standards. Each project has specific requirements in terms of location, environment, regulatory requirements and performance features. Frerk designs tailored systems as individual solutions or in series. Decades of know-how, reference projects, all services from a single source and flexibility result in optimized solutions — ready for use in containers or buildings.
