GRW funding strengthens FRERK
More space for production and testing. A new location for our service department. And technology that opens up new manufacturing possibilities: with Hall 6 in Schweringen, the service facility in Marklohe-Lemke, and investments in state-of-the-art machinery, FRERK Aggregatebau GmbH continues to evolve.
Hall 6: Expanding production and testing capacity
Since breaking ground in April 2025, our new production and testing hall has taken shape in Schweringen. The focus is on containerized emergency power systems for data centers and critical infrastructure. Our testing area is growing, too. Installing the exhaust silencers and steel chimneys was a major milestone. The expansion is designed for a total of 16 indoor test fields, with plenty of room for large container systems. Read the article: Exhaust silencers & steel chimneys:
Service location: New facility in Marklohe-Lemke
The new service hall in Lemke is another site included in the development project. This expansion creates additional space and connectivity for our after-sales service, complementing our production and testing capacities in Schweringen.
Modern machinery: Increasing vertical integration
Our investments also include new machinery as well as testing and measurement technology. With the pipe bending machine and integrated measuring system in Hall 3, we can shape pipes with perfect accuracy. This reduces the number of weld seams required and the associated leak tests. Optimized energy supply: Renewable electricity for Hall 6
We are using photovoltaics on the roof of Hall 6. Battery storage systems supplement our own power generation, while an additional grid supply from renewable energy sources covers any remaining demand. Beyond the funded project: Regional commitment
In addition to our investments, we are active members of the Klimaschutzagentur Mittelweser e.V. Regional involvement is important to us and demonstrates the significance we place on energy efficiency and renewable energy. Learn more: Working together for more climate protection in the region:
