Reliable Emergency Power Supply for Critical Water Infrastructure

Drinking water is irreplaceable. According to the classification of the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Relief, its supply constitutes one of the sectors of critical infrastructure (KRITIS).

Our client, the Tecklenburger Land Water Supply Association (WTL), which has been ensuring a reliable and safe drinking water supply to 11 towns and municipalities in the former Tecklenburg district for over 60 years, has taken appropriate precautions.

To guarantee the power supply to the waterworks, FRERK Aggregatebau GmbH was commissioned to implement and successfully integrate the following into the client's infrastructure, taking into account all KRITIS and client requirements:

• 5 canister generators in customized containers
• Technical refurbishment of 3 existing emergency power generators, including control system retrofit, by FRERK After Sales Service
