A Glimpse into the Future: 9th graders visit FRERK
Last week, career orientation took center stage for 11 ninth-grade students from IGS Nienburg: At FRERK Aggregatebau GmbH, they spent a few hours getting a first-hand look at what everyday life is like in a modern, technical company.
After a warm welcome and a comprehensive presentation on the development and apprenticeship opportunities at FRERK, the participants got to experience the work firsthand.
Divided into small groups, the students gained direct insights into our production and design of (emergency) power units and emergency powersystems:
At various workstations and across different trades, our instructors for mechanical design and industrial electronics demonstrated what matters most in these technical professions.
In the design department, the students immersed themselves in the world of technical product design.
A big thank you to the enthusiastic students and their accompanying teacher for all their questions and lively interest!
