Nifa visits the Nienburg District: Raiffeisen-Warengenossenschaft Niedersachsen Mitte and FRERK Aggregatebau GmbH
Direct exchange between the agricultural sector, skilled trades and industry provides valuable thoughts - especially when the innovation partners are immediate neighbors.
As part of a members’ meeting organized by the Lower Saxony Economic Forum for Agriculture, Crafts, and Industry (Nifa), a productive gathering recently took place at our Schweringen location, where the short distances were put to excellent use.
The day was dedicated to neighborly knowledge transfer:
- Kickoff & Insights: Following the official welcome by Thomas Gehre, the Nifa chairman, our neighbor, the Raiffeisen-Warengenossenschaft Niedersachsen Mitte e.G., represented by board member Bernd Becker, and subsequently Marc Hiller, managing director of FRERK Aggregatebau GmbH, each presented their respective companies, core competencies and industry challenges.
- Two worlds at one address: During the subsequent tour of the grain and feed facility and the following visit to the production area for (emergency) power and backup power systems, the processes and points of interaction became immediately apparent.
The networking event demonstrated that, despite differing focuses, the operational tasks related to digitalization and efficiency are quite similar. Our geographical proximity provides a solid foundation for continuing to exchange ideas on these topics in a straightforward manner in the future.
