30 years, countless locations, and one insight: technology is important, but people matter more

Rolf Neumann joined Frerk Aggregatebau GmbH as a service technician in 1996. His foundation? Training as a car mechanic and in-depth technical knowledge gained through adult education. Today, Rolf is deputy service manager for mechanics at FRERK. From preparing quotations and planning work to customer training courses at home and abroad – he still enjoys the variety his job offers.

Rolf's highlights in retrospect:

  • Engine overhauls in Kourou, French Guiana, and Kiruna, northern Sweden.
  • Maintenance & service training courses in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

What Rolf experiences and appreciates every day:

  • Team spirit: Listening to colleagues is more important to me than any digital chat.
  • The FRERK culture: Flat hierarchies and genuine appreciation of the individual are not just empty words here, but part of everyday life.
  • Genuine connections: Colleagues and customers have become friends.
  • The practical focus: The best feeling? When a fault is found, fixed, and doesn't come back.

A quote that Rolf associates with his time at FRERK: “Treating people with respect and tolerance is just as important as enjoying the good moments in life.”

We would like to thank you very much for your commitment and positive energy and congratulate you on this very special anniversary! We look forward to continuing to work with you, Rolf!
