Project Controller (m/f/d) – Plant Engineering
As a project controller (m/f/d), you will take on a central commercial management function in the project business and be the primary sparring partner of top management for all financial matters of complex plant construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, the finance and operations teams and make a significant contribution to bringing projects to a conclusion on budget, on time and in quality.
These are your tasks
· Independent development ,implementation and continuous development of standards and processes in projectcontrolling
· Ongoing monitoring of the commercial progress of the project based on target/actual comparisons (costs, deadlines,level of performance) as well as proactively identifying deviations and developing concrete counter measures
· Preparation of monthly financial statements, forecasts and project-related reports, including preparation for top management, corporate headquarters and, if necessary, external auditors
· Responsibility for the correct accounting mapping of long-term projects in accordance with HGB and IFRS, in particular within the framework of the Percentage-of-Completion (PoC) method
· Participation in the calculation of offers as well as commercial review and evaluation of contract and order conditions (incl. claims management)
· Management of payment planning andliquidity forecasting at project level
· Creation and maintenance of project structure data in ERP/controlling systems (e.g. AMS, DATEV)
· Support of internal and external audits and provision of relevant project data
· Identification and assessment of project risks and development of appropriate action strategies

You should bring that with you
- Experience in dealing with the typical challenges of plant construction: long project durations, complex interfaces, international projects and high investment volumes
- Knowledge of the earned value method (EVM) and project-related KPIs is an advantage
- Experience in the corporate environment – especially in dealing with intra-group settlements, consolidation and group reporting – is a clear plus
