Combined heat and power (CHP) plants

CHP plants generate electricity and heat simultaneously through combined heat and power — much more efficiently when generating energy separately. Frerk installs CHP plants in existing systems and masters the interaction of various energy sources. Decades of successful integration of proven OEM components.

CHP plants use released energy from fuel much more efficiently than conventional systems. Total efficiencies of up to 90 percent are achieved through simultaneous generation of electricity and heat. The integration of CHP plants into existing infrastructures poses complex requirements: hydraulic integration, grid supply, control technology and heat removal must be precisely coordinated. Frerk is fully proficient in this system integration.

Many years of experience in integrating well-known manufacturer-independent components are incorporated into the design of CHP plants. Different energy sources — natural gas, biogas, sewage gas, liquefied petroleum gas or diesel — are used depending on availability and efficiency. Frerk develops customer-specific CHP solutions for industry, commerce, municipal institutions and residential areas. From design to project planning and installation to service from a single source.
